I just bought this refurbished modem and was not provided the password. There is no password information on the bottom, which is super annoying. I just tried to factory reset and it still didn’t work. I am beyond frustrated and angry that I cannot find a phone number to contact Arris for help after Xfinity couldn’t help anymore. How do I get this damn thing to work?! Please help!!!

Its usually either “password” or the last 8 of the serial number. 

but you really don’t need to go through that for setup. You can call your isp and given them the mac address to activate it.
