I just connected my modem, activated with spectrum and have full connection to internet on my desktop that is connected via Ethernet. My google WiFi is not getting internet connection and neither is my apple tv ( connected via ethernet). is there a setting for the modem to give internet connection to devices?
I just purchased a new SB8200 modem with ASUS wifi router and had this same problem. The solution for me was completely counter to what the modem and router documentation stated. The documentation states to power up the modem first, wait until it’s active (all lights on and steady), then turn the router on. I consistently got no internet connection to the router.
I called ASUS support, and was instructed to do the exact opposite - power up the wifi router first, then when ready power on the modem. As soon as the modem completed startup I had internet access both through wifi and wired connections to the router.
Give this a try with your Google wifi router (if you haven’t already) and see if it helps!
Since you are unable to access the internet while connecting with Google Wi-Fi, I would suggest to power cycle both modem and Google Wi-Fi router, try again to access the internet through Wi-Fi internet. If there are no changes on the behavior, I would suggest to contact router’s manufacturer for further assistance.
SB8200 is the cable modem, and it is working through direct connection via ethernet cable which indicates there is no issues on the modem’s end.

ITS FIXED! This solution solved my issue! It’s so strange that you have to do the opposite of the instructions that come in the box. Thank you for replying :D
