How do I create my network and password so that I can connect to the Internet?

You can find the default password, labeled as the Wi-Fi security key or network password, on the bottom of the modem.

To change the Wi-Fi password, please follow the instructions provided in the link below:

You posted in a modem forum. If you truly have that modem, they don’t have an integrated router. 

What actual device do you have? 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
