I bought sbg 10 and no matter how many attempts, Xfinity can't find it to activate. How do I resolve this?

Could you please help us with few details to isolate the issue on this. What are the options you tried to activate modem?
Is you service provider confirmed that the modem is not receiving signals or what error they see on their while activation?
May i know the speed plan that you have opted for SBG10?
