Pretty simple.

 

I was setting up my 7600 surfboard, and it never prompted the activation sequence. So, I called Spectrum, and they informed me that they cannot activate it because it is not on their list of approved modems, routers, or modem + router combos.

 

Please. If there are any website editors here for Arris. PLEASE REMOVE THE SPECTRUM COMPATIBILITY CLAIM FOR THE 7600 MODEL. It no longer works and I wasted nearly $200 on this piece of junk.

 

If any officials read this, please contact me, this straight up is NOT okay.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We’re sorry to hear about your situation.  If you are within the return period, I recommend you to exchange it with a compatible modem + router combo  that are listed on Spectrum Modem compatible list.

Unfortunately, the window of exchange/return is over with, since I bought the device before moving across the country. I had the idea that it would’ve worked and so I felt comfortable buying without trying — big mistake and I’m not sure what to do at this point.
