We have received a large number of ARP Cache Poisoning attack notices from our antimalware.  They appear every 1 or 2 seconds.

Their support advises that we need to “enable DHCP server on our router,” which is an ARRIS SBG7400 SURFboard.we purchased about 2 years ago.

Please respond as soon as possible.  These ongoing notices are disrupting our work.

For all the Arris modem and routers DHCP will be enabled by default so you can confirm that by logging into the modem interface and check on WAN setup you can see the option available to disable and enable the DHCP.

“ For all the Arris modem and routers DHCP will be enabled by default ...”

Unfortunately, we are and were unable to determine what device(s) are or were causing problems, unless it was one that we could easily identify.

Most of the time, the device with issues is one that we don’t know what it is, and there is no way to determine that information.
