My modem goes on & off, doesn't work consistently and been a pain dealing with Cox. Now I have a Cox unit testing it and it's certainly my Arris surfboard that's the problem. I just got it last year certainly must not be faulty. Help!

I’m connected to a nighthawk router and I have a red internet light though
Since you are experiencing with intermittent internet connection, I would suggest checking the cable signals and changing the Wi-Fi channels.
