I have an SBG8300 and it is constantly blinking. The online and wifi are both blinking. I have tried unplugging rhe coaxil and power multiple times but it just does the same thing every time. I have also tried the factory reset button and it still does nothing. I let it sit for hours expecting it to eventually settle but it continues and I dont know what to do.

In this case we need few more information to proceed further so after resetting modem are you able to connect to the modem wifi network?
Are you able to access modem GUI on any of the device connected to modem wifi or to the modem directly?
