My problem is that I purchased a SB8200 by mistake on 5/8/24 couldn't stop the purchase in time so I purchased the right one the SVG2482AC on 5/10/24 I received the 8200 today 5/15/24 can I return the 8200 for a refund I haven't received the other one yet.

If the device purchased directly on Arris site we need the order number to check for the router and refund. If the device purchased from other site or retail shop you can return the dive to the place of purchase.
