Outages happen on a fairly frequent basis for a few minutes up to around an hour but, the last couple of nights it's been for around 6 hours or more.
It is not my equipment.
I have tried bypassing my router.
Connecting the Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 modem directly to my computer.
I have also tried another working modem.
The lights on both modems act the same.
Green ON: Indicates power to the modem is properly connected
Green ON: Indicates a downstream (receive data) channel connection
Blue flashing: upstream (send data) channel
Not lit: No Internet connectivity
Blue flashing: computer/router is connected to the Ethernet 1000Base-T mode
Periodically the lights indicate a checking sequence,
Green

then returns to the combination stated above indicating no Internet connectivity.
After about 6 hours or more the lights return to normal:

Internet service resumes without my taking any actions nor making any changes.
I can see no reason for this to be the result of anything on our end. Everything is working fine, then no internet. Internet resumes without having done anything. It's almost as if they turn us off and then turn us back on later.
I have a log to upload if that helps.
