Every other device other than the Xbox has connected and works perfectly. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen on different theads to fix this problem. Factory reset, port forwarding, various setting and security protocol changes and nothing has worked. Xbox connects to modem/router g34 but can will launch any games or apps like Netflix, Hulu, max, etc.

save your time and mine and don’t recommend I do anything I already have as I’ve done them multiple times with no success

"Opening the security" for Xbox means adjusting the network settings, such as port forwarding or disabling the firewall option, to ensure that your Xbox can connect properly to Xbox Live and other online services.

Moderate NAT means there are some restrictions (you may not be able to connect with all players). I would suggest changing the NAT to "open.”

To check your NAT type on Xbox:

  • Press the Xbox button on your controller.
  • Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings.
  • Under NAT Type, it will tell you if it’s open, moderate, or strict.

If it's strict or moderate, you may need to change your network settings to improve the connection.

also NAT type is still only moderate instead of being open. And it’s so far been kinda laggy and slow
