Just installed the new modem/router and the coverage is much smaller than our old modem. Looking for other’s experience and extender suggestions.

Could you please let us know the size of your property in square feet? Please note that this model can support up to 2200 sq ft, depending on factors like interference from concrete walls and floors.

First floor is 1500 sq ft. No signal in kitchen which is 40’ away. House is wood frame. Not near any other electronics.

What was your old router?
Are you connecting to the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz?
Is there walls in between the router/other locations?
What are they made of? Sheetrock? Plaster lathe?
