The internet is not just dropping wifi. The 5ghz broadcast is no longer available.It disappears. The 2.4 broadcasts but connects without internet and hardwired devices are disconnected from internet as well. A 30 second reboot is the only thing that corrects the issue. Xfinity app shows the modem as online on the app during this calamity. It's a hardware issue with the Arris gateway caused by an unforseen consequence in regards to the newer xfinity frequencies and how the modem connects to them. It just crashes. Blue screen of death but in router form.
