Gigabit internet but upload speed is slow

I recently got the G36 because Xfinity router WiFi was cutting out intermittently. I set it up, and over ethernet my download speed is 620 Mbps.  which isn’t the best but I’m okay with that. However, my upload speed is only 5 Mbps, when I should be getting between 30 - 40 Mbps.

Is there anything that I can do to improve my upload speed?

You could try seeing if your ISP would reprovision it. Maybe they sent the wrong provisioning for your speed tier.

If you log into the G36, you should be able to check your cable connections info. It should show your upstream/downstream info to check the line. pull that up and take a screensnip of it and post it back here.

Here are the upstream and downstream info that I was able to find on the G36 Web Manager.

Does it have an errors/uncorrectable section?
