Why do you need my location permission enabled during install?

No, we do not track location of the user

Location permission is not used for tracking. 

The Location permission is needed because it enables the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permissions that are used to set Wi-Fi and for some devices to connect to Bluetooth during install.

Nothing to be alarmed the surfboard Central app is developed with good intentions. Surfboard central is a app which uses mapping technology. The app is designed in such a way that can detect the devices  connected to a Gateway or Routers. For detecting the connected and connectable devices nearby the app uses permissions like Wi-Fi ,Bluetooth and Location. The app uses this permissions only when it is necessary.
