I have frontier fios and the minute I added the satellite my speed dropped for all devices. The TV would either freeze and if working the picture quality was choppy. My laptop was only getting approximently 40mb. When I unplug the system speed comes right back up.  The make it sound like “Plug and Play” but that is obviously not the case :). I know about networking as a rock :)

Are they any tech documents that I can review on this issue.

Thanks for your help.

Hello beastman

Since you are facing this slow speed issue after connecting 2nd satellite to the main router we would suggest to try resetting the router and satellite and swap the main router with the satellite then setup the router and check the speed if the speed is good according to the plan is fine or if still same issue please reach out to arris tech support using arris.com/consumersupport.
