Hello,

When I set up my surfboard system with the mAX 21, I remember that I selected the option to combine the 2.4 and 5g networks. Unfortunately, a smart device I have refuses to set up with this configuration. I can’t seem to find the option to separate the networks, either in the app or in the options in the 192.168.0.1 menu.

Thanks

Max 21 or any Mesh system will have the band steering option enabled by default which mean 2.4 and 5G will be combined by default so only option here is disabling the band steering option to separate both the network. For Max router there is no option to access router settings through GUI or using modem IP 192.168.0.1
