I don't have the username and password to get in to change the ssid and security key

What is the device? You’ll probably have to perform a factory reset to go back to the original username and password. Then update those. Then you can go in and change the SSID and Password.

I use: SB8200 > Google WiFi > 2 D-Link DGS-108 > 4 Google WiFi with ethernet backhaul.
