Locked out of Account

Went online, logged in and changed paswd.  Now I can't get back in using my new password.   Password online and the app don't match.  It's a G34 modem.  Any ideas?

Could you please clarify which password you attempted to change the web-based interface (GUI) login password or the Wi-Fi password? Also, please let us know how you attempted to make the change.

Went online 192.168.0.1, logged in and changed login paswd.  Now I can't get back in using my new password.

We recommend restarting the gateway first, then attempting to log into the web-based interface (GUI) using the new password.

If you're still unable to log in, try the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the gateway.

  2. Restart the gateway without the coaxial cable connected.

  3. Once the gateway restarts, try accessing the GUI page again.

Note: Through this whole process make sure that the coaxial cable is disconnected. 

This process can help isolate the issue and allow access to the interface.
