Modem does not appear to be powered up.  No lights on modem.  No internet. Last night we had some power outages.   Could that have caused the problem?
What do I do?

Any help appreciated,

Rich Markovich

Could you let us know the product model number?

Since there are no lights on the modem, I would suggest checking the modem/router on a different outlet and power cord.

Also, try resetting the modem by holding the reset button for 30 seconds to check any changes on the modem/router’s behavior.

If you tried all the possible troubleshooting steps, I would suggest visiting www.arris.com/consumersupport for further assistance.

Could not get WiFi.  Modem/ router was not working.  You suggested hit the reset button or try another outlet.  Found out the outlet is blown.  Plugged modem into a different outlet and success

thank you so much
