When would I need the 2.5Gpbs port?

Some devices have 2.5Gpbs port and others don’t.

Should I invest in products that have this port?

    You should definitely invest in a modem with 2.5 Gbps port if you’re paying for Internet speed higher than 1 Gbps and you have a router with 2.5 Gbps WAN or Internet port.
