I am selling my home and leaving my Surf Board (SV2482AC) with the home?  Does the new owner need to do anything regarding this transfer of ownership?

why would you leave it?

If you’re renting it, you need to return it to the ISP. 

If you own it, its yours and potentially can be used at the next home or resold.
