Can I use my Xfinity LAN line with my new SBG10

Hello guys,

 

Wanted to ask if there is feature or possibility on my equipment to change the address to access the configurations of my SBG7400AC2, one friend of my provide me this recommendation to avoid some one else hack my router,

For sure this is possible, the SBG7400AC2 comes build in on a Web Manager, you may need to login and then access to the LAN Settings > LAN IP Settings > IP Address. and there you can change the default one for one of your preference,
