I have spoken with two customer support folks from Cox trying to activate the S34. They both have told me it is not on their compatible devices list. 
 

I chatted with a Arris customer service agent who said that it is compatible and to use model “RARS34” but this did not help. 
 

Buyer beware.

… I was wrong about this 🫣😳

multiple phone customer technicians told me the modem was not supported, but a service technician was able to activate it.

I’m not sure what he was able to do that the others were not 🤷 but I spoke too soon. mea culpa 😅
