So what is the difference between red & blue box? Older and newer?

 

Other and 10 Gbps and 2 Gbps

 

Probably a little marketing. Docsis 3.1 technically could go up to 10gbps but the SB8200 only has 2x gigabit ethernet ports. so its max speeds using wan port aggregation is only 2gbps. 

Maybe they got called out on that at some point and had to change the box. 

So your saying Blue is older?

No clue. Might be able to look on the boxes but it really shouldn’t matter. 

Might even just be from where it was made at or what region
