Hi there, 

 

My friend recently purchased SBG8300 and I was helping her in setting up the device. During the process there was a security check and that was asking for a captcha code to type in, but it was blank, and no captcha is available. this was on the surfboard central app.

when I tried completing it in 192.168.0.1 on the network set up wizard step 1, again there was a blank captcha code and was not able to complete the set up. I will appreciate if anyone can help me with this. 

have you tried a different web browser and/or pc?


yes, tried with the google chrome and safari still the same


try using 192.168.100.1


Sure, let me check. But I heard that this IP address is for cable modem and not for the modem and a router combo. Could you pls clarify? 

 

 


that is for the modem side but I’ve seen it work when the router side access didn’t.
