I have a 2-year-old Arris T25 modem.  Every two days between 9:30 am and 10:45 am, it reboots without any action by me. It’s been happening for weeks, and always two days between reboots, no more, no less. Is it the modem, or Xfinity?

The event log always reads the same:

PacketCable Events

(Edited content with personal information)

DOCSIS Events

Four minutes before the reboot

Just before the reboot

When I check the status, all parameters are within the proper range, but I don’t have a reading from the moment the modem reboots.

I'm trying to decide whether to replace the modem with the Netgear CM2050V-100NAS, or call Xfinity.

Thanks.

T3 issues tend to indicate a line issue. When you get those, it can trigger a reboot on the modem. Surprising it happens at the same exact time.

Could you please let us know if there have been any recent changes to your network, such as an upgrade to your internet speed plan?

Additionally, would you help us with the internet speed plan you're currently subscribed to?

When rebooting the cable modem, does it completely power off, or does it remain on during the process?
