Slow speed internet connection on S33

Hello, I was using Xfinity XB8-T for last year and had lots of connectivity issues. Yesterday I thought of going back to S33, which I was using during 2021-22. 

I have had stable connectivity for past 24-36 hours but my speeds are slow. On Xfinity modem I used to get 1200 Mbps down and about 35 mbps upload whenever it was working.

I have my S33 plugged into cable and then my eero router is plugged in 2.5 ghz port. 

My S33 gives me like 600 mbps download and about 25 mbps upload? How can I make it better to give me speeds like what Xfinity plan gives me. I am on 1300 Mbps down and 40 Mbps upload plan.

Please guide me as to why I am not able to see same speed. 
Is S33 not compatible? Is there a new firmware I should be downloading for S33. I was not using S33 for past 2/3 years.

The S33 is compatible with 2.5 Gbps speeds. Since you're experiencing slow speeds, could you confirm whether this is happening with a direct connection to the modem or when connected through a a router?

If the Wi-Fi signal isn't strong or within range, it can also result in slower speeds. I recommend checking the cable signal levels to ensure they are within the proper range for optimal performance.
