W6B

I purchased the W6B to improve my Download speed in my home office. I currently have 1Gig fiber service, and consistently get 950 at the modem. I am using a 2.5 MoCA to get closer to my office, and connect the main W6B access point to the moca via ethernet. The main access point is one room over, so I realize there is a wall separating W6B Satellite and Main access point. With that said, I am getting consistent upload speed (~900Mbps), but only getting on avg. ~350Mbps download. Here is current information for my connection: Radio Status Channel 149 Channel Width HT160 Backhaul Status RSSI -46dbm Signal Strength Medium I was previously using the same configuration with 2 satellite nodes in my AC5 Mesh system and was averaging ~250Mbps down, so I have seen a little improvement. Hey I’m considering on purchasing the W6B, will I need to keep my WiFi service with Spectrum or just buy a modem?

I set it up, blue LEDs and all. Went to the web interface, set up the SSID and left everything else at their defaults and my speed is exactly the same. My RSSI is -62dbm, so I feel like that has something to do with it. But, I’m not sure how to fix that.
