My Arris G34 cable modem and router combo loses Wi-Fi connection several times a day ! I have to unplug and plug back in! It works better if I have a fan on it! What is going on?

Since you have mentioned that you are facing intermittent connection issue on the modem Wi-Fi network so to isolate the issue could you please help us with few more details

Is this happening on both the band 2.4 and 5G as well?

Yes, it happens on both 2.4 and 5G. Cox and up to 500 mbps the 1.25 TB monthly data plan.


I was just on an options webinar and got disconnected twice, from the Arris G 34 Surfboard disconnecting! I did not get reconnected and missed half the webinar! 😒
