Hello marielle314,
Could you try doing a power cycle (unplug the power cable and co-axial cable wait for 30 seconds and then plug the co-axial cable and power cable back in) to the modem,
If the lights are not turning on then try with different power outlets or power cords also check the co-axial cable is fixed properly and that no cuts are there if still, the modem shows no light please check for a warranty claim Please visit arris.com/consumersupport for more information.
