Just purchased the SB8200 and spent over 2 hours on chat with xfinity. They say everything is perfect on their end. Yet my surfboard has 1 blue light on. Any help would be appreciated

Im an idiot. I only had a modem set up without a router. I have since returned that and purchased a combination and its working great. Thank you for your help.

What light is on?

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

The SB8200 is not (currently) on Xfinity’s recommended or supported list. My Xfinity service supports 1200/200 but the SB8200 is configured by Xfinity to support only 40 up, which seems to suggest Docsis 3.1 is not enabled on the uplink since I never see that led be blue.
