I have a qnap server that runs wordpress, trying to access the wordpress content via my wan IP address.
I have tryed using a port forward and port trigger on the cable modem but can’t get to the wordpress on the server.
WAN address is 73.XXXXX
wordpress server is 192.168.X.X , with port 80 connected directly to the second ethernet port on arris cable modem
In this case to help you further could you please confirm the configurations that you have setup with your device and to the network on the modem settings page or GUI?
you can use the devices when it is connected to modem network under WAN IP. Outside the network WAN IP can’t be used. so for further assistance we need the configuration of the modem and also make sure you have followed the steps mentioned on the below article to setup port forwarding.
