I need to factory reset my modem router, I remember when I moved to this house that it was quite an adventure to make this modem work with xfinity, and I would not like to have problems between the modem and the company again, so my question is... After the reset, will I have to call again and share the modem data or should it work when I connect the cox cable again?

A factory reset shouldn’t require reactivation. The isp registers the device and it should connect perfectly fine back to the ISP after a reset. I have xfinity and reset my devices all the time without needing to reconnect
