My SBG8300 modem/router has worked fine with Xfinity for a month+, but now provides no Internet access even though both status lights are solid green and Xfinity shows no outage and good connection to the modem. I have tried disconnecting the cable from the wall and modem during several restart attempts, but the problem persists.  

I worked with Arris tech support on this for a couple of hours, and finally just fixed the issue with a factory reset of the modem/router.  Had to reconfigure the modem afterward to have the name and password needed, but thankfully a reset DID NOT require Xfinity (my ISP) to reactivate it.
