The SBV3202 is a telephony modem which means it does not have WiFi or any settings including firewall, the main reason of opening ports is to allow information passing through the firewall with no restrictions, I highly recommend you to check the router connected to the modem in order to open ports, also take into consideration that if you have intermittent connection in all of your devices it is recommended to test the internet with a device connected hardwired to the modem in order to discard a router issue, if the issue persists, check physical connections or proceed to check cable signal levels in the modem following the link: http://arris.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SBV3202-Cable-Signal-Levels cable signal levels must be within the range indicated on the link, if not, proceed with a fact reset, recheck signal levels or contact ISP to adjust the levels on the signal.

Just in case the Port Forwarding is not a feature available on the SBV3204, because is only a Telephonic Cable Modem, and not Gateway Wifi Cable Modem
