I’m a fan of triband extenders. single/dual band extenders have to use the same chip to go router---extender and then extender----devices and can’t do both at once. So they take a 50% speed hit just from that. Versus many of the tribands can use the 3rd band just for router----extender communication with a dedicated backhaul. Makes the speeds much faster. 

Thank you for the information. I was wondering about the extender hit on speed, but since I am not doing streaming on my extended devices, I figured the speed hit might not be a problem. Good to know that a triband extender could reduce the speed problem.

I am also looking for info on a mesh network that I could use with the Surfboard SVG2482AC.
