Question

Arris G36, Samsung TV keeps dropping signal

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have a brand new G36 and an old Samsung UN49MU7000FXZA 4K UHD Smart TV (2017 Model). The TV sees the Wi-Fi 6 signal and connects, then randomly drops the signal every few days when it's turned OFF. (Never loses it when it's on.) I turn the TV on, and it has no Internet. To fix, I have to reset the TV network settings and find the network again. Not a signal strength issue--router is next to the TV.

Another slightly newer Samsung TV (newer model version) seems fine.

Thanks

if the tv is right next to the router, can you hardwire it in?

Could do that, but why run another wire? It worked perfectly well wirelessly with the old surfboard, and the TV is also on an extending mount to be able to pull it away from the wall, etc, so I don't want another cord getting tied up back there.

I think Arris should be able to handle this one..
