How to update arris TG2482 router?

Thats a modem/router combo device. There isn’t a way to update it. Its firmware is part of the provisioning by the ISP

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
