I had to replace my old modem due to it being destroyed by a family member, but when I received a new modem, it did not come with a wifi security key unlike my previous modem. Am I just blind or dumb?

Hello Jhayrimiel,
Basically you had purchased a wired cable modem which is SB8200 it is not a WiFi cable modem .
In this modem you can see only 4 led lights Power / Receive/Send and Online where there will be No WiFi lights.
So, you wont be able to see the WiFi security key , looking at the scenario it shows that the previous modem that you had could be a Gateway product which is a cable modem and WiFi Inbuilt.
Also, browse shop.surfboard.com for more information on Gateway ( WiFi cable modem) products.
