Yesterday, a technician from Xfinity came to my house for wiring.

He said everything was fine with the line, but no internet connection was found. He said I have to set up something with the SBG10. I followed all the instructions in the manual, but the internet connection failed.

I can see ARRIS-7E05 and ARRIS-7E05-5G in the Wi-Fi list on my laptop. When I connect to them, the internet is not working, and the connection is not established. One strange thing is that if I connect them with my iPhone, I can only access YouTube and Google. When I access Google and click on some other links, I can't see anything. All other websites are not accessible.

What is the problem? Is there something wrong with Xfinity?

Can you stream on youtube? 

Did you check to see if the mac address registered is correct with xfinity? 

Try a factory reset? 


I did. 

I checked all things.

Same problem.

I suggest you to factory reset the modem and try with self-activation through Xfinity application.


Hope you are able to  connect to the internet, after trying on the Reset and Self-activation through the Xfinity Application.
