Hello, I would like to use my Surfboard G36 modem/router as my main router and add two nodes for Mesh. I see that Arris makes a couple of different models. SURFboard mAX Pro W133 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System , AX11000 Wi-Fi Speed up to 11 Gbps , Coverage 6,000 sq ft , 4.8 Gbps Backhaul , Four 1 Gbps Ports per Node , Alexa Support ARRIS Surfboard mAX 6E W161 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System | AXE6600 Wi-Fi Speeds up to 6.6 Gbps| 6 GHz Band | Coverage up to 5,500 sq ft | 4.8 Gbps Backhaul | 2 Routers | 2.5 Gbps Ethernet Port Surfboard mAX W130 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System, AX7800 Speeds up to 7.8 Gbps, Coverage 6,000 sq ft, Alexa Support Will any of these work for me as satellites/nodes? Any assistance appreciated, along with setup tips would be great! I also heard that I could use a Mocha device to transmit through COAX.
will a power cord from an Arris TM 822G power an ArrisG36?l
I just installed a surfboard G 34 modem. We had an existing Netgear nighthawk X6 router and Unifi AP AC lite extenders. The extenders aren’t connecting. I’ve tried rebooting everything unplugging and plugging the extenders back in. Other than factory resetting the extenders. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are the extenders compatible with the new modem?
How do I identify “unknown” devices on Surfboard?
I need to configure an Arris G34 in home network as secondary router. I understand I must set the 1st 3 digits of the IP address to match the default gateway with a unique 4th digit. Also I know I must change the default IPv4 default gateway to match the primary router. I’m having trouble finding these items in the configuration screen. Can someone please help me. Thank you.

I attempted to set up a USB drive on a Arris Surfboard Modem/Router SBG6950AC2. I was able to map a drive on my PC to the USB drive on the modem/router. I was able to navigate to the drive and to several folders I had created on the drive (when it was inserted on my PC). I am not able to create a folder on the drive. I am also not able to copy files over to the drive or to the folders on the drive. It appears to be a permissions issue. I opened up the access to everyone, but was still unable to create a new folder or copy a file to the drive. I followed the steps outlined in this document: https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/Knowledge/SBG6950AC2-USB-Media-Sharing/?l=en_US&fs=RelatedArticle#:~:text=Connect%20USB%20Storage%20Device,USB%20storage%20device%20if%20applicable. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?
I am trying to connect several households items to my internet. It has been stated that I need to use a 2.4(not sure exactly what that means). After calling my internet company, they stated that I needed to reach out to the manufacturer of modem/router.
I need help changing the modem password, but the app doesn't work.
Today I replaced my Spectrum Modem with a new S34. and had Spectrum activate it. Hooked to my laptop I get an IP and all works well, but hooked to the new Asus ZenWiFi BE5000 I get no IP. Hooked to an old Ubiquity UDM it works perfect so for the moment my client lives with the UDM. Took the ZenWiFi home and plug it in my network and it comes up and works perfectly so I know the router can accept an IP and the Modem can supply an IP, but why can’t the two new boxes work together. The Spectrum Tech claimed that the modem was not showing that the ZenWiFi was showing as plugged in when I plugged it in. Background, the Spectrum modem had been with fine with a TPLink WIFI 5 modem for a couple of years but apparently also stopped getting IPs yesterday, Which is why we started replacing stuff.
