Audio cutting out during virtual meetings?

I recently installed an Arris SGB8300. Prior to installing, I almost never had issues with audio during my meetings. Now, the audio frequently cuts out for about 3-5 seconds. I can still see peoples’ mouths moving and the live captions pick up what they are saying but I cannot hear it. During meetings, I am connected to the 5Ghz network. I have Breezeline/Atlantic Broadband for an ISP. Here’s what I’ve tried:

--reset gateway

--connect to ethernet

--turned off guest networks

--audio with multiple sets of headphones (corded and wireless) and straight from computer speakers

--happens in both Teams and Zoom calls, also happens when private listening to Roku streaming

--run speed tests (very fast internet) and wifi analyzers

--manually changed network channel

The only thing that has fixed it without fail is switching to my phone’s hot spot, so I am pretty certain it is the gateway. Is there a setting I should be looking for that I am missing here? I am pretty fed up with it and ready to send it back at this point! Thank you!

I did try a different pc with same results. Same issues if it's wired.
