Hello! My DG9450 wifi router has unexpectedly started flashing purple and nothing I do can stop it or change it. My apartment complex and ARRIS online support won’t be available to help until Monday so I’m asking here to see if anyone has any advice on what to do. Other units near mine have wifi as well so I am just very confused!

As of 6:30 am my internet connection has been shut off after a power outage. Which occured multiple times before and the service stayed on but stopped at 6:30 am. Its in Georgia where the flooding is happening. When should I expect my connection to return? 

My devices are not connecting to the Wi-Fi name  due to the incorrect password how do I recover my password of change it ?

ISP  Xfinity.  Just happened today restarted modembypassed router to desktop pcContacted xfinity no outages in my area 

I purchased Arris’ Premium Support! Useless, calls routed to India with ? technicians some who speak NO ENGLISH!Techs could care less about your issues, problems or concerns. Made 2 calls for support, 1st call lasted 8 hours and 2nd call for 4 hours.At advise of the technicians, modem settings screwed up, devices that were connecting no longer connected! Techs request to call you back and never do.Far from a Premium Service!Will not be using their support number again. Have requested a refund for a useless non-existing service, So LONG ARRIS

Have you had to replace your power supply (12V 1.5A 5.5mm with 2.5mm + (pos) middle with -(neg) outside plug) for your S33 Modem?  Thumbs up is a yes.I bought an S33 Surfboard modem on 4/8/2023. On 8/3/2024 it stopped working. Reviewing the community blog it became apparent that the power supply was the likely cause. I replaced the power supply at my own expense and the S33 started working again.  

I am disappointed with my current internet service. My online battles are literally a frustrating mess! Every time I have the upper hand, Boom! Lag strikes and I am staring at a frozen screen and a “connection lost” while my enemy sniper team is lining up for a headshot. I am fed up with this lazy internet connection and look for the suggestion on best internet speed plan for the gaming devices and  that can keep up with my gaming skills. So, I ask you my fellow gamers, what internet service provider offers the best service and delivers the smoothest online gaming experience? Remember ultra-low latency and consistent speeds is a must! 

To hopefully help troubleshoot the problem and share my experience and how I proceeded with my setup, here is the information that I have.  Installed the Surfboard Central version 4.3.2 app on my Pixel 7 Pro with Android version 14.Began the setup/activation process from within the Surfboard Central app.  I did have a hiccup trying to activate the until on my Xfinity app but worked around until overcame that issue so that in the end the unit was successfully activated.At that point I went back into the Surfboard Central app and backed my way out of it and started over again this time selecting that the modem was already activated.  I did not take note of the order of prompts after that but I was at the point where I was prompted to start the tutorial of the app and had not confirmed that I did indeed want to go through the tutorial when the downloading screen covered everything up.  After being stuck at the downloading at 0% for a long period of time, I think I

Hey there,My Dad Bill Lu brought the new home network Arris DG3450 because I need to check the Firmware on Router version but it's not working because of the 2017 release date version because of the lack of IPv6 because my Dad Bill Lu is so mean because of the wrong modem model because I am technical difficulties surrounding my modem because I have to talk to my Dad and Mom including Bill Lu and Mom Lu because I am having technical difficulties, technical issues, technical problems and technical concerns because of the lack of IPv6.Thanks! From,Joseph Can you send the Email and Mail message to my my Dad and Mom email address including Bill Lu and Mom Lu email address because of the outdated version.

You cannot use the same cell phone and app to set up an Arris Mesh Router in a second home. It must be set up using a different cell and app. This is a major inconvenience. It would be nice if the cell phone app could be used to set up, uniquely identify, and control Arris Mesh router systems in different physical locations (i.e. homes). This should be a simple change to the app.

The title says it all. I no longer use Time Machine with my MacBook Air M2. I recently purchase the Arris  Surfboard AC1600. I have attached my external hard drive to the Surfboard but cannot locate it to sync with my MacBook. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Upgrade firmware failed, then the router goes to abnormal status. RJ45 cannot get the IP address. WIFI can login, but it will display configuration guide only. The configuration process cannot finish, and then the router hangs.Tried RESET, but the problem is same. Any method could rescue the router? 

I was wondering where I would find the latest firmware for my Arris NVG448B router. I want to keep it up to date and don’t know what the latest version currently is

Trying to install surfboard central on my phone, since I already have an account it keeps saying sign-in required so I need to enter the password,but there is no where to enter it!  In a continuous loop with this.  Solution???

I currently have an Arris cable TV set-top box (HMC-4000) from my cable TV provider, which allows me to watch TV programs on the same WiFi network without competing for the TV with my family. This is a great feature. However, due to WiFi security concerns, I need to separate the WiFi network from the local area network. Could you please advise me on how to use an app to specify the IP address of the set-top box, instead of relying on the app to search for the set-top box within the same local area network? Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

So I have only six devices that should be connected to my internet at this moment in time there are seven so there is someone using my internet that I don't know and there's no option to get rid of them I changed the password but that didn't help can anyone help me?

i would strongly recommend not buying arris modem/router g34, reason being this issue is at least 4 years old and still not fixed. issue is modem/router acess certificate not valid because 192.168.0.1 is not https, so chrome thinks its not safe to acess (and i’m using a lan cable) therefore no acess unless a hard reset is done almost everytime you want to acess modem/router interface and the surfboard app is only for phones NOT DESKTOP available, so if you shut down wifi, in order to turn it on you cant until you do a hard reset almost every time now, i purchaesd this 3 months ago on 1/1/24 all my other modem/routers never had this problem, as an engineering acronym KISS (keep it simple stupid) is not working here, its a good modem/router not returning it but will not buy another arris product ever again

Hello,I need my order either cancelled or have an address changed, e-mails did not go through and I cannot find a way to contact support as it has all be scrubbed from their sites.Order # 58999. It’s kinda funny, I have spent over an hour trying to find a way to contact support for their sales side.  Safe to say any contact information has been scrubbed from their site.  Live chat does not work, no phone #’s listed, so I came here.

Router not connecting to internet through modem. WAN is not an option

Hi,It has been 2 days I am having very hard time to login to router page after I reset the router. I did a ton of research on internet and tried many different options but none of them worked. I am connected through a LAN right now and I not able to connect through WIFI. There is sticker about username and password. It would be a great help if I can get this working. Thank you.  

I have been experiencing with my G36 new modem replacement modem as well as the old G36 connectivity performance speed issues, issues of every kind rebooting issues you name it everything over the last 6-7 months for which I contacted Arris about this issue there head tech Joshua at phone number  [edit: removed personal information] he told back then he knew NOTHING about these issue with arris G36 modems and the new 10G xfinitys system upgrade which for us has been a very serious down grade with the Arris G36 modem. We are hardwired ethernet connected  and had for over a year with this G36 and on the ISP service at the 1200 Mbps down and 40 Up of xfinitys good performace over all of 1400+ solid flat line at 1400+ continously with same with the 42 up. We need even much faster speeds but this is the fastest available here from anyone. However in July of 2023 is when xfinity up graded there system making there system only compatiable with there modems causing all 3rd
