I have an S34 modem. Light is solid blue but it is saying I have no internet connection and my WiFi address doesn’t even show up anymore. I have unplugged, reset, etc. but nothing changes yet light is still solid blue 

Hello, Cox Cable has removed the S33 from the certified modem list and they are actively removing it from customer accounts. I bought my S33 last year in July. Is this covered by warranty? 

My SB6190 stopped powering up after 7 mo. of use. I purchased it brand new in the original packaging on Amazon with a 2‑yr warranty. However, I cannot register it for a warranty claim because the warranty reportedly expired - attention! - 4 yrs before my purchase. Amazon insists that all sellers are verified and that misrepresentation is not possible. How can this be?

I need help resetting the IP address on my Arris DG2460. I left it unplugged for 20 minutes and it didn’t work. It has a dynamic IP.

I have Optimum ISP with 1G speed. Optimum says there’s no issue on their end. Have had to reboot modem three times this week. Today service has dropped twice and the modem won’t reconnect, keeps flashing green light. Suggestions?Thanks. 

What is the Status of the surfboard S34.  When will it again become available?

A "high level" tech that came to service my internet completely hand-waved away the errors in my modem (this was after I put in an FCC complaint for TLV-11 config file rejections). The tech came out on March 22nd. He stated that the 2nd LAN port on my modem didn't work; which is a complete fabrication. I am able to view error logs directly through this port. He tried to tell me that the error logs I'm seeing are because the port doesn't work, but obviously it works or I wouldn’t be able to access the error logs. He just tried to place blame on the 3rd party modem. I know that this is on the CMTS or node side.They continually try to pin the blame on the 3rd party modem manufacturer--which is both an approved appliance on their site, and they are in charge of any firmware updates on this router (this is the whole point for the DOCSIS standard).I wanted to contact Arris directly to have them say that it isn’t on their side of things…(Edited private information

Hi All - I’m hoping to get some help.Last saturday my Comcast / Xfinity connection died. I was using a gen 1 SB8200. The error code of the flashing lights suggested that the modem was borked, so no biggie, I just ordered a replacement one (to show up next day, and an S33 arriving a couple of days later).The new SB8200 arrives, and when i plugged it in, i got the power light, then all four lights would blink green, then nothing. No connectivity. My router (Archer AX50) reported that there was no WAN connection present. Worked with Comcast to get this new router on my account but still nada. They sent out a tech who replaced cable from the pole to my house - still nothing. The S33 arrived and had the same problem. The tech sent someone to look at the TAP on the pole - there was some water damage but its fixed. Everyone else connected to that TAP is working. The tech came back the next day - replaced another section of cable, but I still wasn’t connected. They plugged in

How can I retrieve the original password to my arris model sb6183

New S34. Connected Mac to Xfinity. Had internet service for maybe five minutes. Then no service. All LEDs off on modem. Cycled power. Modem connects for a few minutes and then stops and LEDs go off.

Storm last night and now I can't connect to the internet.  XFINITY says everything is good on their end, how can I troublshoot my modem?  The app is absolutely no help at all....

White light & Buzzing. Can’t register or verify warranty online as it says the model number and S/N don’t match. How can I put in a warranty claim? I haven’t had this for even 2 years yet and can’t find any real or working customer support links.Model: S33v2

Just purchase and installed a new sb200 V3. Xfinity package is 300 MBS. Was on the phone 2 hours and all they did was reset and reset and reset the modem. Did not produce 300 MBS. They want to send out a technician. Is it possible that there is an RF filter upstream capping my speed to 100 MBS?

I need information. Do you have a number I can call? I bought this device, but after activating it with Spectrum, the Wi-Fi stopped working. I need help.

I’ve tried activating my warranty for my S33. I entered the S/N and it still says unable to locate. Anyone know how to help me get warranty?

More info on that below, but here’s the main issue:I came here to reach out to support for information on the modem, and could not verify the warranty. I entered the model number and serial number exactly as the label shows, with and without spaces, uppercase and lowercase, etc.If I try a serial number for an older modem, it comes up and shows the warranty status. However, but the SB8200 does not show up. I can’t connect my new S33 to comcast, because I need to go to comcast’s activation page to activate it. But with the S33 physically connected, I have no internet access, so I can’t get to the activation page. Catch 22. Also, the “quick start card” wants me to scan a QRC to get “step-by-step” instructions for installation, but I don’t have a phone and can’t do that.

There is a link on the website to check warranty status. BUT, it’s broken and doesn’t work. How can I check the status of my warranty? I have an S33 that I’d like to find if it is in warranty. Thank you in advance.

This is very strange. My ISP is Spectrum. It took them an HOUR to provision this modem to connect it to the internet. It works. It’s worked for a week. But we cannot even VIEW the login page. It times out. Nothing has worked. 20 second factory resets, blah blah blah blah. I’m an IT professional. I believe this modem is a dud. The app is completely useless. It doesn’t even let me log into the app, so don’t even try to tell me to go there. To clarify, I try to log into the IP that the instructions say to go to, and it times out. This is with ethernet directly into the modem, no router, etc. Firefox, Edge, and Chrome all time out. It says the modem is busy and may not have access to the internet. But it does. The internet works fine.

How do I reset the password? I’ve pushed the pin on the bottom to factory reset but the default user name and password doesn’t work.  Also. Is the SURFboard app supposed to be so barebones? I feel like I’m missing something. 

I have had internet connection issues today. I’ve turned on and off the modem several times. My laptop now has access again, but my TV has reverted only to “cable” as an option, which I no longer have. How do I reactivate to access to content on the TV via the internet and my modem? 

I returned a new ARRIS S34 modem on 1/30/2026 but have still yet to receive a refund. How do I talk to someone about this issue? Fedex RMA return was used and delivery is confirmed to ARRIS.
