I am a previous owner of an SB6183 and an SB6190, I have had no issues with accessing the web portal manager with these two modems. I am on the same router (TP-Link Deco S4) I used with my SB6183 and SB6190. The difference at my end is: 1, I upgraded my Spectrum package from 400mbps to 1gig. 2. I purchased the SB8200 modem for the DOCSIS 3.1. Is it something at my end that prevents me from using the web portal access (192.168.100.1)? Or is this a known issue that Arris is working on a fix?

Set up S33v3 per the instructions. Called internet provider and gave MAC ID. Light on surfboard was orange, then blinked green, then blinked green and blue. Cannot get solid green light. Have repowered and reset several times. Can never get past blinking green and blue.

My Arris 34 is missing the OFDMA channel. I did have it, but then it disappeared. Log from my Firewalla router. See attached 10/15 upload speed good at 346mbps. That’s what is supposed to happen. On the other days you can see the upload speed hits a ceiling <85 mbps. Software/Firmware from Xfinity is the latest. Xfinity tech came out and put his field test modem on my line and indeed showed 2200 down and 400 up, but this S34 modem isn’t buying it. What can I do here?

The Arris web site won’t recognize my serial Number.

I forgot I had purchased this to upgrade my SB6190 until I had some connection issues and upgraded to 1m service for less. In starting up my SB8200 I had to go back and forth between the Ethernet ports for RJ-45 network cable connections to connect to the SB8200 Web Manager. But I did so without using a username & password, why? Comcast (Xfinity) did maintenance and lost service for over a week. I was able to a get connection, but it isn’t complete yet, get blue on downstream, but not upstream. They updated my software, I still need to go back and forth between the Ethernet ports for RJ-45 network cable connections to connect to the SB8200 Web Manager. It still doesn’t need come up with the login page needing a username & password, why? I lose connection to it going from page to page and have to do it all over again to connect. I have Xfinity. They give my Fortinet 61F a IPv6 /60 block. All the prefix delegated address are on the Fortinet. I can’t send out IPv6 traffic. We activated modem with ISP. Are able to see the home network but error indicating no internet available

I just today bought and then installed my new surfboard S33 cable modem. I used my ISPs activation site (breezeline) to try and activate. It mostly seems to be connected, I get a steady blue light on the modem itself, but I can only connect to my ISPs website. When I use my browser to connect to the modem via 192.168.100.1 it shows as connected and operational. However, whenever I try to access any other site, I'm met with a 'your connection is not private' (I'm on chrome). The specific error is 'net::err_cert_common_name_invalid'. If I try to download Firefox, I'm redirected to my ISPs website. I have already talked with tech support from breezeline who said everything looks OK on their end and that it may take up to 24 hours for 'signals to synchronize', but it's been about 5 hours since I activated it and the idea of it taking 24 hours seems absurd. I just purchased and installed with Cox an Arris Surfboard modem model SB8200V3, which is a DOCSIS 3.1. I replaced an older version from 2019 which was a DOCSIS 3.0. The unit is working and providing a connection but the receive and send indicators are only a solid green, not a solid blue, which means it is operating as a 3.0 and not a 3.1. The tech from Cox went through and confirmed all the necessary requirements to operate at 3.1. Does anyone know why it’s not at blue or 3.1? I tried calling the for Arris, but the call always drops and is never answered. Is there an issue with Arris?

Is the SB6183 compatible to the Arris app?

Hello, I am experiencing a few minutes of disconnection for at least once and up to 4 times per day now. I suspect that it is due to my internet service provider is sending a bad configuration file to my modem which causes it to lose connection for a few minutes. This is because the event log in the modem indicates that there was a bad TLV code in the configuration file. I am unable to convince WOW to fix this since they are overly eager to replace the S33 with their own no name brand and charge me $10 a month for renting it. Is there a way to see the configuration file that was sent so the team at ARRIS can suggest a fix? I’m including the log errors that repeat 4 times a day generally at the same time of day. Are there any ways to get the WOW technical support to even look at the log files (they have refused so far). We have Xfinity 500 mbps using an s34 and a netgear mr60 mesh system. Rarely get more than 250 mbps

My SB8200v3 no longer works it only has power light & no others on. Called Cox cable & the tech checked signal from the neighbourhood underground “riser” to the modem. He replaced/ upgraded the cable from the side of the house to the modem. He then installed a cox-cable modem & it worked like a champ. The tech said it is definitely a bad modem, I have to agree. I even tried the reset... The modem is 9 months old and I would like to return, how do I start the process.

I am pretty certain I know the answer but wanted additional validation. I purchased an Arris S34 because my old Motorola MB8600 was having some issues and figured I might as well go with the latest with improved uploads. Initially the Arris S34 worked great and I was getting upload speeds of 320mbps which was impressive but would then lose connection after 30 minutes and rarely reconnect on a power reset. After dealing with Xfinity offshore level 1 tech hell for several days I had another tech come out to my house who indicated the tap box needed to be replaced. I reconnected my MB8600 and ran the Spectrum Analyzer. It's noisy and uneven. Around 400 MHz and again near 950–1000 MHz. Above 950 MHz, the signal sharply falls off to the noise floor. Hi, I had my surfboard SB200v3 connected to a secondary device called a Gryphon. I want to disconnect my Gryphon and just connect to my Wi-Fi using my Arris. But when I go into my WiFi settings on my phone, I don’t see any account that might be my surfboard. What am I looking for? What will it be called? If I have to manually add the account which numbers from the bottom of the device am I supposed to add in? thank you!

My SB8200 kept losing connection and now will no longer reconnect. I have went through the power cycles, hard resets, and replaced the coax cable. It feels like it’s running hot in-spite of being out in the open and has been moved away from everything. I have xfinity gigabit internet and was told that it was compatible. What can I do to get this modem replaced as I haven’t had it that long

Hot to the touch. I can barely pick it up in summer. I have it sitting on my A/C vent with the furnace fan running 24/7. Temps read over 100 degrees F. Is this normal? It DOES affect my internet connection, signal get dropped and is very slow at times.
