I placed an order from the official store and the only email I got from ARRIS was an email asking me to review the S33 modem I haven’t even received. I don’t have an order number or a way to track the shipment. Is there some type of customer service I can contact to ask about the status of my order? surfboard.com/support just 404s.
TLDR; If your S33 isn’t working to connect to the internet, the modem itself is buzzing, the light cycles between amber for a while then a quick change to white/green and then off only to restart the cycle, you may just need a new power adapter to get it to work again. I’ve looked through several posts of the same problem I was having starting today. The modem was buzzing and there was a constant cycle of the lights no matter what I tried. The amber light was on for about 7-10 seconds and then flipped to a white/green light for a second or two before turning off and then restarting the cycle of amber, white/green, and off. Things I tried to get it to work include disconnecting and reconnecting the power to the unit, confirming that my internet service provider (Xfinity) had no reported outages, removing the coaxial cable, and attempting to reset the whole modem. When I tried resetting the modem with the reset button on the bottom, nothing happened regardless of how long I held the rese
Hi,I have unfortunately terrible cellular service with AT&T at my home and am evaluating options. AT&T has given me a cell booster and I am trying to connect it, and have been instructed by AT&T that I have to open the following UDP ports of the modem to allow the booster to activate: UDP / 500 IPSec port, UDP / 4500 IPSec port, Emergency Services Protocol (ESP) 50, and UDP 123 NTP port (timing synch). Initially, AT&T said my internet provider had to enable this, but I own the modem (not Xfinity, my internet provider). I seem to be unable to talk live to an ARRIS rep to resolve this. Does anyone have advice? Thank you!
Recently switched ISP’s, and got new ARRIS modem router. Have two outdoor security cameras - both SimpliSafe and wireless.Switched ID and password of router to new ones. Was able to connect one security camera. Was not asked for password. Tried connecting other security camera, got asked for password, entered it, and got response that password not correct. Really strange.
I sell clothes online and I recently returned to school, and I have a ARRIS modem here at school. I was able to connect my label printer during the fall, but I am not able to connect them anymore.
Our S33 cable modem is less than a year old. It keeps losing Wave Cable/Astound internet connection while using an Arris NVG578HLX WiFi router. The S33 has already crapped out twice today, and it's getting worse. Now I get an intermittent “Privacy Warning: This device is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. The names of websites and servers your device access on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network."What's wrong and how do I fix it?
I’ve been charged for not sending in my return, but the unit is still in route and should be delivered tomorrow. The tracking number is below. Since I shipped the unit well within the required timeframe and cannot control how long the shipping takes, I expect to receive refund of the money I was charged once the unit arrives - please confirm. “Chat hours: Monday – Saturday from 7 AM – 7 PM Pacific Time”this is on their customer support page, right now it’s 8 am on Saturday, but the chat is unavailable! Also, they don’t list their phone number on their website (basic information for a legit company, why you hide it?), I had to google to find the number, needless to say, no one was working, and the voice message kept telling me “our chat support is available from Monday to Saturday! It’s a big lie!
I have a BGW 210 with AT&T. Will it be compatible if used in place of a SB 6120 for Spectrum?
I have my new SB8200v3 modem and I noticed there are two ports only. The top port is no problem, but does the bottom port even work? And if it does, how do you get it to work and what can it do?
We recently started a home project and needed to cut the power off from the breaker. The router/mesh system were both plugged in when we flipped the breaker to turn off the power. Once we flipped the breaker back on, the router now shows a solid white light. There’s nothing in the owners manual depicting what a white light means. If it’s useful information, we use a deco mesh system (AX3000) that is currently showing red, which indicates it cannot connect to the WiFi. How do I get my WiFi working again?? I’ve tried: resetting the router (unplugging, pressing little reset button on the bottom), resetting the mesh system, replacing the power cord, and nothing works.
How can we activate the 2.4GHZ on the SB8200 with Xfinity? I just bought the device and cannot connect some of my devices. Thank you for your help in advance
I just got setup with Xfinity tech support replaced out SB6190 for S34. Everything works on the modem to PC but when adding to my router it will not connect. Thoughts? I have a Firewalla Gold and I have deleted the network and rebooted all setup with DHCP. Trying to avoid factory reset too many rules created on my network. thanksjoe
i have had 2 SB8200’s and neither one would ever show docsis 3.1 and with several phone calls and house visits from techs they said nothing was wrong on their end but as soon as they hooked up “their Modem” it instantly showed docsis 3.1 with the blue lights… could i really have 2 bad 8200’s or is that their way of getting me to rent their equipment?
So I just got an Sb8200. Apparently Xfinity is telling me it’s not compatible even though on their website it says it supports it. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
I have a SB8200 with a net gear router. I am experiencing very slow speeds with my Xfinity account. I have a 500mbps account. Xfinity says there is no problem coming in to the house. I was wondering how I could tell if it was my modem on my router that is only giving me about 10 MBPS?
