HELLO! WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO GET A QR CODE THAT GUESTS CAN SCAN IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE OPEN/PUBLIC WIFI?

Per Fing my router allows UPnp and NAT-PMP which is a security vulnerability. I contacted you before on April 28 and was told to download and install the newer surfboard app, and though I did that there wasn’t an option to disable these identified vulnerabilities. Please help

I awoke to non-functioning internet connection. It has been confirmed that the issue is the S33 modem. All connections were checked that included ethernet and coaxial cables, the service was verified with the service provider, but the modem was the only thing experiencing issues. There is a nonstop chirping sound coming from the unit, and the front light was solid orange/reddish. I attempted to perform additional troubleshoot per the user guide. Performed Restart only to have front light to turn solid green, still making the chirping sound, and without making connection. Proceeded to perform Reset, light remained solid green, chirping sound remained, and still did not make connection. How do I get warranty support? RMA? Im still within the two year warranty.

I have a new Qualcomm portable wifi unit. Desperately want to use it. But if I'm lucky enough to get through to 192.168.100.1. The text in the booklet that came with it, could only be ready with a very good magnifying glass. I can type in admin admin I know my SSID But I can't read the rest of the info to fill the boxes to set up my portable router. Can anyone help me, or do I need to forget this and get my money back???

Brand new S33 shows as being active on Cox support side. I get a solid blue light but no connectivity when connected via Ethernet. I get a webpage from Cox saying my device isn’t active. When I try to activate it, it says it’s not compatible. Attempted to connect to a wireless router and the SSID continually shows as No Internet. Not real sure what to do.

I recently purchased the new SP 34 surfboard modem. My old modem was in the bedroom so I hooked up the new modem in the bedroom. I got everything connected to my wireless network and everything was working fine however I wanted to move the modem to my basement And now I cannot connect anything please help

I have a SB6183 cable modem that I’ve been using with a NETGEAR R6300v2 router that’s worked great until a bad thunderstorm came through and did something to my internet/wifi. The technician said I need a new router. I connected a NETGEAR AX1600 WiFi 6 Router and it didn’t seem to fix the issue. Should it? Any router recommendations that would be compatible with a SB6183?

When I get to the admin page, it says I've been locked out for to many attempts. I reset the modem/router to many times I desperately need to change the password.

All light show on with the 5g and 2.4g Wi-Fi lights occasionally blinking no devices get internet when connected and the Wi-Fi lights start blinking haywire anytime you attempt to connect something I’ve unplugged in and plugged it back in reset it with the button on the back checked outlets checked cables for damage and waited hours nothing works

Hey all, I have been using an S33 over the past year with Cox, this is my first time owning my own cable modem as when I had spectrum the modem was free so no need to cut costs and it was a stable modem. Anyway, I’ve noticed over the past year the blue LEDs have gotten very dim, and act as some of them have gone out. The amber and green LEDs are normal brightness. I have gone into the modem settings and have set the front lights to be off under normal conditions, since I only need to know if there are issues, anyway. My question is, should I be concerned of future modem failure? Right now it works fine and my connection is stable. The modem is registered with Arris and has Warranty coverage until November of next year.

Wrong local channels

I purchased an Arris Surfboard SB8200 back in January this year and it just kicked the bucket a couple days ago. Everything was running normally, but suddenly I lost WiFi and I noticed that the Surfboard didn't have any lights up. I unplugged the unit and it was very hot to the touch. Clearly, the hardware has failed. I took the unit back to the Best-Buy I bought it from, but since I didn't buy the protection plan, they told me there was nothing they could do. They let me know that I need to contact the manufacturer and ask about their warranty. Apparently there is a one-year warranty, and I should be eligible since the unit didn't even last a full six months. I went to the URL on the bottom of the device, www.arris/consumer, but this seems to now re-direct to a website for the company CommScope. My S33 modem was working great. Then 2 days ago I went to access printables.com to find something to 3d print. The site wouldn’t load. This was curious because I could stream netflix, apple tv, youtube, prime, and my son wasn’t experiencing any lag on Marvel Rivals. To add to the issue, I could access the site just fine from my cell phone connected to the same network. I finally punched in the ip adress to my modem and found in the event log a Timing Synchronization failure with a date of 1970. I checked with the ISP and the issue seems to be isolated to my house so I either have an issue with a coaxial connection or my modem has a problem. This begs the question, is there a firmware update for the S33 that could resolve this? Is my S33 on the brink of failing? I believe the timing synchronization issue is what’s preventing me from accessing certain websites but I’m not certain.

Where and how can web interface be accessed? Upon logging in to the modem IP address, you can see other things except the web manager. The Arris website routes to Commscope and Commscope chat agent says go to Surfboard and disconnected.

I just installed the Arris G34 brand new router because Xfinity’s price went over $300.00 per month! It worked great for about 4-hours then the power died! I unplugged the power supply and tried several outlets but the G34 would not power on. All I get when I plug it in is three quick flashes of the blue light then the light goes off. I had to reinstall the Xfinity router to write this. I tested the power supply, and it is producing power the required 12.20 Volts DC. I will return it to Amazon. What a big pain. Think about going to a Motorola router.

Trying to set up the cable modem but the mediacom web link the app requires me to go to don't exist

Outages happen on a fairly frequent basis for a few minutes up to around an hour but, the last couple of nights it's been for around 6 hours or more. It is not my equipment. I have tried bypassing my router. Connecting the Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 modem directly to my computer. I have also tried another working modem. The lights on both modems act the same. Green ON: Indicates power to the modem is properly connected Green ON: Indicates a downstream (receive data) channel connection Blue flashing: upstream (send data) channel Not lit: No Internet connectivity Blue flashing: computer/router is connected to the Ethernet 1000Base-T mode Periodically the lights indicate a checking sequence, Green Green Green Green flashing Blue flashing then returns to the combination stated above indicating no Internet connectivity. After about 6 hours or more the lights return to normal: Green Green Blue Green Blue flashing Internet service resumes without my taking any actions nor making any changes.
