I have Xfinity 1 gbps service. The G36 was suggested by them. I get 1 GB with my computer. Same cable gets 100mbps with PS5. I've done port forwarding and upnp. I've checked updates on PlayStation and cleared cache. Im using a cat 8 cable. The router and cable are brand new. I'm getting 400 mbps with wifi. . . I just don't know why it's maxing out at 100 mbps.

I am unable to secure my arris modem. Can you assist me with this?

I was wondering why my wifi went out. I go and check my wifi box and came to see that only the power and the Downstream icon was blinking. I own a SBG7600AC2 and when I reseted the box, only the power, downstream, wifi, and signal appeared. I couldn’t figure out why the down and upstream couldn't get a signal. Please help me! SOS (Down/upstream was blinking)

Just installed the new modem/router and the coverage is much smaller than our old modem. Looking for other’s experience and extender suggestions.

My dog’s Halo collar is having connectivity issues and the recommended fix is changing the channel on our router. Model number is DG6450.. I can’t find the “Wireless Settings” tab on the menu to access the channels. Can you tell me how to change the channel on our router?

Mt arris surfboard quits working suddenly yesterday. Tried a different outlet. Checked cords. No lights are lit

The one reason I chose Arris surfboard as my modem of choice was because of the form factor of the SB 8200. The new versions changed the form factor and are desk mount only. Why not have an option for wall mount?

Hey everyone! I just bought a new Arris Wi-Fi cable modem (G34) and cannot for the life of me get it to set up and work. I have been on chat for several hours with my internet provider and have been searching a few hours on this website to get in touch with a live agent and I’m getting frustrated. I am unable to work and need to get this figured out. What do I do?!?! I’m not super tech savvy so I need to literally be held by the hand and walked through the process 😬

looking to register new S34, keep getting model # and serial number don’t match. I am copying them right off the box and materials included with the device. Thoughts?

No matter how many times I enter the Serial No. for my S33, it keeps telling me the serial no and the product selected do not match. I have tried S33 and S33 Kit (whatever thast is)

Where on the modem can I find my network name & password when initially activated

Went online, logged in and changed paswd. Now I can't get back in using my new password. Password online and the app don't match. It's a G34 modem. Any ideas? Thanks

Using the surfboard central app to set up the router and it keeps failing “WIFI Communication Failure” Error 0000-1614. It’s super annoying because I want to see what my password is to access the online GUI to change the network name a password, but the app (apparently the only place to find this password, how ridiculous) is stuck in this infinite loop of trying and failing to to set up the router

I am able to set up the main router and when i go to try to set up the satellite device in the Surfboard Central app. When I click on the “Next” button, nothing happens. I tried for over 30 minutes trying to click the Next button and nothing happens. If I close out the app and try to log in again, I get prompted to set up everything all over from scratch. It also takes about 20 tries each time to get the app connected to the device. Each try takes me over an hour. Things I’ve tried: Restarting the phone Reinstalling the app Tried installing the app on other phone and tablets Tried switching the Mesh units (swap router and satellite) Factory reset the routers Have the satellite sitting right next to the router

Tried to access Surfboard Central website to see if there was any info on putting my G36 modem/router in bridge mode to transition to wi fi mesh system. Website will not let me access saying “website insecure” “go back to safety”. and I can’t find any instructions to perform this task. Any idea’s?

When at 2.5 it’s averaging about 27 5G about 400. Hardwired 900. So I know I’ve got a strong signal. Yes, I’ve rebooted. And it helps.. for about 20 minutes. What can I do?

It appears phone service drops when my Appletv is turned on. Is the Appletv using more of the available WiFi ?

Purchased G34, I set up without the Mobile App and it is working with Ethernet Cables, but no wifi is being broadcasted or shows up in my list of wifi available. Is the app needed to set up wifi?

Trying to set up new modem/router. I can connect to it, but without internet. Xfinity says they activated it and says it's online from their perspective. How do I get internet connection? Spent hours with xfinity help line to no avail.
