Wi-Fi Modems

Just discovered that even though my printer and TV operate, via WiFi, neither is connected to my home network, which is running 5G. While trying to connect my HP printer, the router Pin # was requested off the label. Everything that I see does not qualify as the Pin #. So how do I connect my devices?

Just got a G34. Two problems. The first and worst is the dropping internet after a few hours. This happens on both 2.4 g and 5G networks. Once I reboot I have internet connection again but once again it will drop after a few hours. I have followed the instructions and checked the cable power ratings and they are all within the appropriate range. Problem number two: I initially attempted to change the Wi-Fi network and passwords to my own but once I did I could not connect to either 5G or 2.4 g networks even when using confirmed correct passwords. Once I did factory reset I could connect to the networks again.

When accessing the web interface of my SBG-6700AC gateway at 192.168.0.1, instead of the login screen, I get a blank page with the text “Invalid host header.” How do I fix this error and log into the the gateway?I’ve tried restarting the modem, but I still get the same error.

I'm trying to figure out what the current version of firmware is for the SBG10 Gateway to determine if it's up to date. 9.1.103AA85 is the version displayed in the Web GUI device status. Thanks! 

I’ve been on the phone with tech support twice and have done everything in the posts here that I’ve found. Reset router, uninstall/reinstall app, use default credentials, etc. Last instruction from tech support was to “wait 1 hour and try again”. No luck.  The router is connected to my ISP and I can access through web address, but I really want to monitor and access the router remotely. Any last ideas?

I cannot log into the gateway for the router, it is showing admin, and the standard password is not correct on SBG10 

Its says my modem is online the light is soild blue but the internet not working.

I’ve been accessing the app.designrr.io website successfully for months, then suddenly I can’t connect to it, getting the error: This site can’t be reachedapp.designrr.io took too long to respond. I have an Arris SBG10 connected to Wave/Astound Broadband.All other web access is fine, and my download speed is over 250mb.When I run Network Diagnostics on my Windows 10 PC, it results in: “Your computer appears to be cofigured correctly, but the device or resource (app.designrr.io) is not responding.”I reset my router to factory settings, but still can’t connect.I can however connect successfully to app.designer.io when I connect through my Verizon 5G Hotspot.Any ideas on what could be wrong? 

I’m trying to access my Internet settings to enable Port Forwarding and the default “admin” “password” isn’t working and I never changed it.Is my only option to get a new Modem??

Newly bought G54 and service with Spectrum. Initially was working very well. Today, many websites can not load and others are dial up slow. Spectrum of course bounces this to Arris as there appears to be some service and feel its no longer their problem. They insisted for a hard reset as some channels are not working correctly and Arris would be better suited for fixing this. What is ACTUALLY the problem and what is a step by step process on how to remedy it, without getting bounced back and forth. 

Can I disable IPv6 on my G36 to allow only IPv4? Does this require a separate router by using bridge mode?  My ISP can’t disable it for me. 

I currently have the SBG8300 and I have Optimum ISP. I have had optimum for years now, but I recently moved across the state. I didnt have any problems before I moved, the internet went out maybe 5 times in 2 years, but ever since I moved it happens multiple times a day.  It happens randomly, and It is only out for a couple seconds or minutes max. It is wifi and ethernet. I have 450mbps down and 40 up, and I have 2 pcs on the internet gaming. Both pcs disconnect at the same time and come up at the same time so I know its not PC related. Things I have tried:  - new ethernet cable - resetting internet (button on back of router) - factory resetting internet (both holding button on router and through network webpage) - unplugging router from wall and waiting I am putting in a ticket with Optimum tomorrow to see if they know what is going on. Where are the QoS settings for the G34? I can get into the modem settings via browser but I can't find QoS.

Whenever I try and add a Manual Static IP for a device that is NOT a NAS, (An HP Multifunction in this case), I always get the error message “Invalid Input!”And when I try to add my iMac, I don’t get an error message, but it also does not subsequently show up in my Static IP list.Is this feature bugged?

 I hooked up my modem, no problem, but i keep getting error messages when i try to connect my iPad thru wifi.   It says that the passwords are wrong, but I am using the one provided on the modem.   Help!    -B

Does the G54's 5GHz band have 160MHz channel width?Or is it limited to 80MHz?

I installed my g54 modem, activated it with Xfinity. It is showing online with Xfinity but when I connect to the g54 it tells me no Internet available. I can not connect with the surfboard app or by typing in 192.168.0.1, have reset the modem but still says no Internet.

So I can get some of my devices connected (online) because some of my devices all of a sudden switched to the 5G network from the 2.4. Like the phone got on the 5G and maybe a couple of othet things and then some I had to put the password I. For them to get online on the 5G. But I still have devices like a Yale door lock/bridge  and 2 outside security cameras that aren’t working. I found out it’s because they will not use the 5G. I tried to go back in like I was encouraged to do and get my phone temp onto the 2.4 just to be able to connect those and then  they’d work on that and my phone could go back on 5G. . So  since zoning my own Arrus Modem which is a SBG8300, my internet company was not able to do much for me. They said I needed to contact Arris and tell them that I needed to have the 2.4 and the 5 two separate things, and I which accidentally clicked out of that chat and forgot the exact tech terminology. Restarting modem, pc does not work, the problem is getting progressively worse, and app does not change settings.
