All 4 fail to light leds despite showing “active” on the admin screen. What an I do to fix? I have already done a factory reset to no avail

All wireless clients show up in the 2.4 client list. I am pretty sure that the 5Gs are connecting at 5g because I am getting the throughput and performance I expect. The devices themselves indicate that they are connected to the 5g network. This has been the case since I installed the modem several years ago. Is there a way to change settings or a workaround so the clients show up in the correct wireless network? The devices circled in red are logged into the 5g network. We have the arris modem, which is not sending a good signal to our back camera, alarm company suggests an extender. Reviewing the reviews of the arris extender, they are mostly not excellent. We wanted to stay with arris since our modem is arris but have concerns based on the reviews. Can you offer any details, information, positivity. Our arris modem is perfect, we replaced Xfinity with the arris and are super pleased.

I bought a G34. Xfinity has activated it. When I try to connect using the password with the documentation, it won’t connect.

Added new G36 to Xfinity account and it’s been activated with WiFi connection verified. But devices that require a password to use the WiFi still do not connect. How do I reset my password from the default?

How do I know if I have A surfboard max or a surfboard gateway

I know this has been reported by others, but I am unable to see what the solution was. The G36 Web portal interface is extremely slow to log in and respond to switching menus or making changes, it often comes back with “Connection to Gateway Lost”. The modem is connected to the Cable provider (Spectrum) and internet speed is not a problem. I am unable to use the Mobile app because when I try to log in, it reboots he modem. The modem has been factory reset numerous times but the slow login / management is still a problem. I have tried both wired as well as wireless, different devices and different browsers but all have the slow responsiveness.

I have used the same email address for 25 yrs! So, it will not send me a way to set username, password or ANYTHING! I really do not want to do factory reset . How do I get the dang arris page on my pc so I can just do what I have always done. WHY after all this time does my email NOT exist! I just installed this modem 3 months ago!!email me at (Edited personal information) ASAP for help!!

Have installed a G34 modem/router and have experienced delayed or interrupted online service. When using service provider "loaner" equipment, we do not experience those issues. The provider referenced similar problems other customers with G-series equipment had. Has Arris recently pushed firmware either causing or correcting this issue? What are my options if this issue continues?

Rebooted, reset, and still orange. Tried direct connection via lab and the IP won't resolve for me to further troubleshoot. Suggestions? Need it back up ASAP as I work from home.

Referencing topic: G36 won't connect to Surfboard app to change password and network name. I have a similar issue where the app wants me to set up the device (g36) again. I am online but cannot access 192.168.0.1 to change the network name and password. also none of the attached web links to the online help is available. My internet provider is xfinity.

Guest network disappeared after restart of g34

Hi, I am going to purchase either the G20 or the G34. From what I’ve read the G34 is the better one, but it’s $50 cheaper than the G20, so I’m confused as to why the pricing isn’t the other way round. I don’t need the extra two Ethernet ports and my apartment is only 600 square feet, so the G20 would be better, but it’s $50 more. Can anyone explain why the G34 is cheaper? In simple terms as I find it hard to get my head around all the info 😊 thank you in advance

I have a G 34 modem in use with the Mediacom broadband. We have verified that the speed coming in is around 1.2 gigs but coming out of my modem connected with ethernet is about 450mbs. Interested in any ideas that would help me get the speed out of the modem that I would expect.

For some reason I cannot access non Google products through my WiFi connection with the arris Sbg10. LG smart tv with Roku stick won’t connect, apps on iPhone won’t open and certain websites aren’t working. Has anyone else had this issue?

I just installed my Arris G36 modem/router with my Sparklight ISP and everything is working great. I decided to download the Arris Surfboard Central App from the Apple Store and in going through the installation process the app wanted me to reset the Arris G36 to factory settings which I wasn’t about to do since the Arris is working perfectly. I ended up deleting the App from my iPad. Has anyone else encountered this situation?

Good morning, I am using modem Arris DG3270A I am trying to change my Wi-Fi password by logging into the admin panel at 192.168.0.1, but I don’t know the login credentials. I already tried admin/admin and admin/password, but neither worked. Could you please tell me what the default account credentials you usually set up are? I already contacted my internet provider, and they told me I need to reach out to the manufacturer.

I recently factory reset my g20 router (I've done it many times before) but instead of seeing the generic "E09-G20" device name listed on the public wifi list to restart the router setup process, I saw a bunch of wifi names like "wave_10" or "wave_11", etc. I figured that it must've been my Arris, and I was able to successfully login to one of them to restart the process of changing my Arris interface settings on the website. I successfully set up my 2.4ghz and 5ghz channels, and on the network list on the website, I successfully disabled the other random wifi channels named "wave", etc. However, on the public wifi broadcasting list, visible on my phone or desktop computer, I still see two channels named "wave_22 and "wave_44". They aren't listed on my Arris router homepage, and the interface website only shows my 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks as being active. I bought a new G34 and set it up through the surfboard app. I was able to do this successfully. After connecting all of my devices to the new modem, I went back in the app and noticed it wasn’t updating. I also tried to change the wifi password, which it indicated that I did, but anytime I went to connect a new device it would make me use the default password. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it, but now I keep getting error codes when I try to go back through the set up process and connect to the modem. I am also not able to access the settings via the web because I don’t remember what the auto generated password was. Any advice?
